Requires digital component in (red, green and blue phono sockets) on your TV or monitor to be able to use this cable. Most modern TVs have them. Red Pr/Cr, Green Y, Blue Pb/Cb.

Audio connections are provided by red and white phono connectors connected to the TI-99/4A's mono audio output. Audio is connected to both left & right plugs into the TV for the best sound possible.

Please note this is only for European models fitted with the 6 pin video output connector only.

The Ti-99/4A outputs a component video signal slightly out of specification for some televisions which can cause compatibility issues. This can cause an "out of spec" message, poor colour balance or a black screen. However, on many TVs it works fine - it's difficult to know without connecting up and trying!

In the worst case a monochrome image with audio can be obtained by connecting the GREEN plug to composite video in on the television.
