Amstrad CPC 464 & 6128 Active RGB Scart Cable

This version is the "Active" cable tapping into the power from the Amstrad's 5v power adapter (not supplied) to enable better RGB switching on some newer flat panel televisions.  Symptoms of poor switching can include: ghosting and shadowing or in extreme cases flickering, a black & white picture or no image at all.  This cable is only suitable use with the following models of Amstrad CPC:

• 464
• 6128

Remember to use an Amstrad CPC without the original Amstrad CTM monitor you will need a 5V power supply of adequate current.  We recommend our 5v adapter for best results - available seperately from our store.  This "active" scart cable simply uses the 5v power adapter that would already be used to power the Amstrad - no additional supplies are required. 

This cable cannot be used on the later Amstrad 464 PLUS and Amstrad 6128 models as they use a completely different video output - cables are available for the PLUS models from our store.
